For many years, Spanish With Sarah did not increase tuition. Keeping the school accessible to families has always been a priority.
Over time, rising costs have required modest, consistent adjustments to ensure the school can continue to provide a stable, high-quality program for students and teachers.
Classroom supplies and materials
Field trip transportation and admission costs
Insurance, utilities, and operational expenses
Teacher compensation and annual raises
As one example, a single preschool field trip that cost $306 last year increased to $1,034 this year.
Spanish With Sarah prioritizes retaining experienced, consistent teachers. We provide annual raises and competitive hourly compensation to support long-term stability and instructional quality.
In response to rising costs, our parent organization (SPA) has expanded fundraising efforts beyond the previous one-event-per-year model.
These efforts help support:
Program enrichment
Playground improvements
Outdoor materials and shared resources
Fundraising helps offset costs but does not replace the need for tuition adjustments.

Even with recent adjustments, Spanish With Sarah’s tuition and fees remain well below those of other private schools in our area, while continuing to offer:

Long-term teacher consistency
Annual registration and supply fees cover classroom materials, shared supplies, and field trips. Families do not receive a supply list, as materials are provided by the school.
For currently enrolled families, the registration and supply fee is split, with $100 collected at registration and the remaining balance processed in June.
Tuition decisions are made thoughtfully and with care. Our goal is to remain accessible to families while ensuring the long-term health of the school, the well-being of our teachers, and the quality of our programs.
