2021 Lunch / Recess Volunteers

We are so excited to once again be able to have parent volunteers come help during our lunch and recess hour! This is a great time for you to meet your children’s classmates and to give the teachers a mid-day break.

We will need two volunteers each day (except Wednesdays) 11:30-12:30. Are you able to volunteer once every month or every other month? 

There will always be a staff member with you during lunch and recess.  We work together!

(Please  note, all volunteers must show proof of vaccination to Marilu prior to your first scheduled volunteer date.  Every person on school grounds is required to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status.)

Watercolor Class Raffle

We have a wonderful parent, Bre Larios, who recently asked to do a collaborative watercolor painting with each class as a potential fundraiser. Each class participated and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their special time creating and collaborating on their artwork.  The final paintings are absolutely beautiful!

We are going to raffle these paintings off so they can be enjoyed by YOU.  All students will bring home raffle tickets next week.  These tickets can be purchased for $5 each. Please write your name and the class letter/number of the painting for which you would like to purchase your ticket and place these and your cash in an envelope labeled: Raffle.  Drop off your envelopes by the morning of Friday, June 11th. (We will have a drop box outside at drop-off and pick-up.) We will hold the raffle Monday, June 14th in the afternoon and announce the lucky winners!
The class who sells the most tickets will win a piñata!

Why a raffle?  We want everyone to have a chance to keep these beautiful paintings.  Also, as our school is growing we will be adding a classroom next year and this will help with some of the expenses of putting together a new classroom for your kiddos.

Registration for 2021-2022 will officially open for all our current SWS families on January 11th.

Registration Process & Forms

Registration will open for new families on Monday, February 1st.

In the 2021-2022 school year we will offer the following classes:

2-day AM or PM preschool, 3-day AM or PM preschool.(Please see the classes page for more information.)

Kindergarten

First Grade

Second Grade

Third / Fourth Grade

Fourth / Fifth Grade

After School Spanish Enrichment

Middle School – AM Spanish 4   2-days/week

Middle School – AM Spanish 2/3  3-days / week

Tuition:

Taking into account the rise in costs, the need to expand our classrooms while keeping our class sizes small, continuing to hire outstanding teachers, and comparing our tuition to surrounding schools, we will be raising tuition and fees by 10% for the 2021-2022 school year.
