After School Programs

Spanish With Sarah originally began with our after school enrichment programs.  Your children spend 45 minutes, twice a week, learning a second language with a whole-language natural approach.  We do all the things children normally do, play games, do arts & crafts, sing songs, read, write, and more….in Spanish. One class each week is more focused on new vocabulary/grammar while the other class is focused on using the new language elements in a fun, engaging manner.

After school Spanish Enrichment classes are intended for children in first grade and above.

Students will have the option to attend in person (our preference) or join us remotely via Zoom on the days they are not able to attend in person.

2024-2025 after school classes follow the SWS school calendar with the exception of starting one week later.  First day of class will be after Labor Day: September 5th will be the first day!

 

Beginning Spanish Mondays 3:45-4:30 and Wednesdays 3:00-3:45 with Maestra Lidia

Intermediate Spanish Mondays 4:45-5:30 and Wednesdays 4:00-4:45 with Maestra Lidia

Advanced Spanish Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:00-4:50 with Maestra Lidia

Tuition for these 2-day classes is $115/month for the 10-month school year. There is a one-time non-refundable registration/materials fee of $75. The ACH fee is withdrawn the month PRIOR.  (September withdrawal will be August 5th.)

Homework

Homework is given in the after school classes as a means to reinforce, throughout the week, things we are doing during our Spanish time.  Only thinking about Spanish twice a week, during our class times, is not enough.  Homework is provided as a way to extend our class time into your home.
