2-hour late start 4/12/22

Spanish With Sarah will be operating on a 2-hour late start on Tuesday, April 12th due to inclement weather.

There will be no AM preschool.  PM preschool will begin at 12:30.

Classes will begin at 10:45.

Due to inclement weather Spanish With Sarah will begin two hours late today. There will be no AM preschool.
Classes will begin at 10:45.

 

Arrival & Dismissal

Drop Off & Pick Up
Last year we had a staggered arrival and dismissal.  It’s obvious we need to return to a stagger so the lines are not so long and move more smoothly.
Starting this 9/7, we would like to have 3rd-5th grades switch to the following schedule:
8:35 drop off
3:25 pickup
 
If your child is in preschool-2nd grade we will continue our 8:45 drop off and 3:15 pickup.  Please be sure to not arrive too early to clog the drop off of the older classes.  (Have children in both these groups?  Please drop the older child off in the first group and then either park to let the 2nd child in at their time or….you can drop them both off in the early group and the younger child can play on the playground until their 8:45 start time.)
Also, the car line should only be used if:
  • your child is able to get out of and in the car independently (with teachers opening doors)
  • you do not need to exit your car (parents should stay in cars and not need to get out to retrieve bags, etc.)
  • you do NOT have a preschooler (all preschoolers are walked around to the back door by their family.  You do not need to stand in the drop off line for K-5.)
If your child is not able to exit or enter the car quickly then you should park and walk them over. Please be sure to let other approved pick-up persons know to do this as well.
