La lectura

We completed our 3rd unit and jumped right into our 4th unit: Survival.  We read a realistic fiction story: The Island of the Blue Dolphins.  Realistic fiction:

  • The characters behave as people or animals do in real life.
  • The setting of the story is a real place or could be a real place.
  • The events in the story could happen in real life.

Our objectives for this week were to:

  • use comparative and superlative adjectives (Jack is as tall as Luke.)
  • identify subject and verb agreement

We celebrated our April readers with a piñata!!

Ciencias

We planted our seedlings and continued to monitor their growth.  We are getting ready for science presentations on 5/30-5/31!  I hope everyone is working on their project at home.
