Science

This week maestra Paola had a chance to conference with each student in class. It was a great opportunity to assess understanding of the concepts seen this term and  find out how they are planning to apply this into their research projects. Every student was prepared (topic selected) and had a plan for their project and presentation. Presentations will be the week of March 28 – 31. Each students will have an average of 4 minutes for their presentations. They are welcome to use any resource we have a school. I know some of them are incorporating technology (PowerPoint presentations) and others are planning to bring models and posters. They can get as creative as they feel!

We also spent time working on our final assessment of this module. During this assessment, students are allowed to use their notes, look at their books and collaborate in groups to solve the questions. We are only working on a couple of questions a day. We are planning to be finished with this assessment next week.
